Return & Exchange Policy
Scope of Policy
This policy applies to all transactions made through the Robot Bodykits website or via direct invoice, unless specific product terms state otherwise.
General Returns
Customers may cancel orders and potentially receive a refund (minus a 5% transaction fee) if the cancellation is made within three business days of placing the order. This refund does not include any shipping costs, even if they are integrated into the product's price.
Due to the nature of our custom-made products, returns are generally not possible once an order has been shipped. However, we understand that issues may arise.

Faulty or Ill-Fitting Products: If you receive a product that is faulty or does not fit as expected, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to find a resolution, which may include:
- A partial refund to cover the costs of professional repair or modification to make the product fit correctly.
- Remaking the product, with the customer responsible for covering return shipping costs. In this case, the customer can keep the original product.

Other Circumstances: In limited situations, we may consider a return request for a non-faulty product. To be eligible, the product must be returned to the manufacturer's address in its original condition. Please note that only the product's purchase price will be refunded, excluding any shipping charges incurred. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Bespoke Robot Orders
Our robot kits are custom-made. Cancellation fees apply depending on the production stage:
- Pre-production cancellation: 5% non-refundable transaction fee.
- Post-production cancellation or cancellation after deposit: 50% refund due to the customization involved. If the kit was acquired with special pricing or sponsorship, the refund amount may differ.
- Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable if canceled post-production or post-deposit.
Product Features & Installation
- Professional Installation: Our products are designed for professional installation. Attempted DIY installation may void the warranty and lead to undesirable results.
- FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) Parts: Resin traits like sanding lines or filler marks are inherent to the material and are not considered product defects. Professional body shops can easily address these. Refunds will not be processed based on these characteristics.
- Improper Installation: Improper or DIY installations are not covered by our warranty. Any damages or issues arising from non-professional installations are the customer's responsibility.
OnAir Products
For cancellations, notify us within three business days. After dispatch, refunds are only possible upon returning the product to our warehouse. Return shipping fees are borne by the customer.
Product Damage
- Report Upon Delivery: If you observe any damages upon delivery, report them to the driver immediately and take photographs as evidence. Our kits are insured, but we require this evidence for a smooth insurance claim process.
- Partial Refunds for Repairs: Some components, such as FRP parts, might be repairable by professional body shops. We may offer partial refunds to cover these repairs.
- Support During Remediation: We understand the inconvenience caused by damaged products and will support you throughout the insurance or repair process.
International Orders
- Delivery Delays: International deliveries might face delays due to customs. Customers are responsible for all local customs charges.
- Change of Mind & Returns: We do not accept returns or refunds based on a change of mind after delivery if the product meets the agreed-upon conditions.
Order Verification and Payment
- Order Verification: We conduct thorough checks on each kit part before dispatch for quality assurance. Each part is photographed to document its condition before shipment.
- Payments via PayPal: We urge customers using PayPal to be familiar with the platform's policies and avoid misusing them. Misusing PayPal's protection policies or making false claims can result in legal consequences.
Post-Dispatch and Customs Handling
- Limited Control After Dispatch: Once a kit is dispatched, our control over its movement is limited to tracking. We cannot recall or reroute the product during transit. International deliveries may face extended delays due to customs processing.
- Chargebacks: We strive to resolve customer concerns directly. Initiating a chargeback without first attempting resolution with us is considered a breach of agreement. We maintain detailed records for contesting unjustified chargebacks.
Shipping and Handling
- All shipping costs are non-refundable, regardless of whether they are integrated into the product price or itemized separately.
- Customers are responsible for any return shipping charges, even in cases where a refund is issued.
- International customers are responsible for all local customs and port charges.

2. Wet Carbon (or Wet Lay Carbon Fiber):

- Limited Styles: The initial cost of creating moulds for PP kits can be high. This means that while the material itself is of high quality and offers excellent fitment, it might not be feasible to produce a wide variety of styles or custom designs in PP. Customers might find that PP kits are available in a limited range of styles compared to FRP or carbon fiber options.
