Our factories will be closing for Chinese New Year, which runs from Tuesday 17 February 2026 to Tuesday 3 March 2026. In reality, many factory workers begin leaving from around 3 February so they can travel home and spend time with their families.
This happens every year. In the weeks leading up to the shutdown, production slows and then stops completely for a short period.
Because all of our parts are made to order, this will affect lead times.
Manufacturing turnaround times (estimated)
-
FRP: 10–15 working days
-
Carbon: 15–25 working days
-
Dry carbon: 20–25 working days
Orders placed in January and February
We estimate that orders placed after 19 January may be at risk of delay due to the factory shutdown.
In the lead-up to Chinese New Year, our factories work day and night to get as many orders completed as possible. Unfortunately, this isn’t always enough, especially as staff numbers reduce closer to the shutdown.
-
We will do our best to produce and dispatch orders placed before the closure, but this cannot be guaranteed.
-
Orders placed in February should expect a 2–3 week delay, plus additional time once production restarts due to an order backlog.
If you need parts urgently, please do not place an order during this period, unless you are happy to wait for production to start again.
Why this is unavoidable
Everything we sell is made to order. This allows us to keep costs down and avoid holding large amounts of stock, it also makes our international orders easier to fulfil (this is 70% of our business) but it does mean we are affected by factory shutdowns like Chinese New Year.
