Reviving a Classic: Our Journey with the Sixth-Generation Mustang
The Mustang. It’s the quintessential American muscle car that so many of us have dreamed about at some point. For car enthusiasts, owning a Mustang is often a lifelong goal, especially when it comes to the iconic sixth-generation model from Ford.
Hi, I’m from Robot, and today I want to share something close to my heart. Standing beside me is none other than the sixth-gen Mustang—a car that has been a significant part of our journey as a company. Over the years, this car has shaped the direction of our business and played a pivotal role in the products we’ve developed.
At our factory, if you visit, you’ll see a sign at the entrance that proudly displays one of our most prized accomplishments: the second-generation Mustang body kit. This kit represents our growth and innovation, with this particular Mustang being central to it all. As time went on, we developed several kits for the sixth-gen model, adapting to the car’s design while staying true to its legacy.
Now, with Ford preparing to launch the next iteration of the Mustang, we couldn’t help but ask ourselves: What’s next for the classic sixth-gen? Will it be left behind as the new model takes the spotlight? That’s when a thought struck me—what if we could adapt parts from the upcoming model to breathe new life into the older generation?
With that inspiration, we set out on a mission. We wanted to support the loyal owners of the sixth-generation Mustang who had been with us from the beginning. We didn’t want this car to fade into history, so we rolled up our sleeves and began developing an entirely new line of parts and accessories.
I’m excited to share that we’ve now completed the data for the kit, and the molds are already in development. Soon, the additional components will be arriving, produced using cutting-edge CNC machining and 3D printing techniques.
This project has been a labor of love, and I can’t wait to show you the results. Follow along as we take this classic Mustang and give it a fresh new look and feel, transforming it into something extraordinary.
