Designed for ongoing sales

You can sell your bespoke kit through your brand, with all sets manufactured through Robot Bodykits.

A minimum of five orders per year is required to retain exclusivity and mould ownership. If this minimum is not met, mould ownership returns to Robot Bodykits and we may offer the kit for sale ourselves.

Your project, explained

How does the process work?
  1. Agree the brief. Tell us about your brand, target vehicle, parts and design direction. We assess the project and confirm a quote.
  2. Design and develop. After the initial assessment, we connect you with our design team in Hangzhou, China. The vehicle is scanned, the design is developed and test panels are checked for fit.
  3. Create the moulds. Following approval, we make the tooling needed to reproduce the parts.
  4. Manufacture your kits. Your first set and ongoing production sets are quoted separately, ready for your brand to sell.
How long does it take?

Allow approximately five to six months from the vehicle or reproduction shell arriving at our manufacturer to the first fitted parts.

This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. Timing depends on scheduling, project complexity, shipping and approvals. Prompt feedback helps keep development moving.

Can I add other parts or request a different package?

Yes. The three packages are starting points. We can quote for a different combination of parts for your brand.

  • Ducktail spoiler: development from £1,175

These estimates cover design, data, development and tooling for the additional part. Manufacturing, vehicle rental and access are separate.

What affects the final price?

The main factors are the size and complexity of the parts, the design direction and the amount of fitment and refinement work needed.

Vehicle availability also matters. Rare vehicles and supercars can be harder and more expensive to source for development. Vehicle rental and access costs are quoted separately.

Manufactured parts are quoted according to the agreed specification and material, including fibreglass (FRP) or wet carbon.

What are the design and revision terms?
  • A 50% design deposit is required before design work begins.
  • Each part includes up to three revisions. Further revisions add 20% each.
  • Once a style is agreed and completed, it is locked in. A restart in a clearly different style is charged at 40% of the design fee.
  • Additional concepts are charged at 50% of the design fee each.
  • Reproduction or copy-from-image work is charged at half the design fee.
  • 3D-printed master parts carry no warranty against heat-related deformation.
