Our parts are handmade, made to order aftermarket components. Like all quality aftermarket parts, they carry natural characteristics that come from how the materials are made and finished. These characteristics are completely normal, they are not faults or defects, and they are expected as part of the preparation and fitting process. Please read this before ordering so you know what to expect.
Every one of our parts is designed to be prepared, test fitted and installed by a qualified professional. We strongly recommend test fitting before any painting, wrapping or final finishing. Minor adjustment, sanding, alignment and preparation are a normal part of fitting aftermarket parts and should be expected.
We supply carbon fibre parts in two constructions:
Please note that on prepreg carbon bonnets there will be a join line down the centre of the panel. Prepreg carbon sheets are only produced in certain sizes, so a large panel such as a bonnet is made from more than one sheet, which leaves a visible join in the middle. This is normal and expected on prepreg bonnets and is not a defect.
Natural characteristics of carbon parts include:
By default, our carbon parts are supplied in a gloss finish. The following finish options are available at an additional cost on top of the base price:
Forged carbon has a random marbled pattern. No two parts are identical, and the pattern, flow and density will differ from piece to piece and from any photographs shown. This is the nature of the material and is part of its appeal.
All of the above are normal characteristics of high quality handmade composite parts and are not grounds for a refund. Genuine manufacturing faults, incorrect items and transit damage are of course covered, please see our Refund and Return Policy for how those are handled. If you are ever unsure about anything before ordering, contact us and we will be glad to help.
This policy explains how your order is produced, checked, shipped and delivered, including your responsibilities for customs clearance and import charges.
Please read it before ordering. The shipping method and estimated timescale for your item will be shown on its product page or confirmed in your quotation before you purchase.
Our parts are manufactured after you place your order. Production takes place before shipping, so please allow for both production time and transit time.
Typical production times are:
FRP parts: approximately 15 working days.
Carbon and partial carbon parts: approximately 20–25 working days.
These are estimates. Larger or more complex kits may take longer. Any different production estimate for your item will be shown on its product page or confirmed before purchase.
If we become aware of a significant delay, we will contact you with an update. These estimates do not override any delivery date expressly agreed with you or your statutory rights.
Information about cancellations and change-of-mind returns is covered separately in our Refund and Return Policy.
All parts are checked and photographed before dispatch as part of our quality-control process. These checks help us confirm that the parts meet our expected quality standards and record their condition before shipping.
We retain these photographs for our records and to support investigations into reported damage, delivery issues and insurance claims.
Our checks and photographs do not replace your right to inspect the goods on arrival. They do not rule out damage occurring during transit or affect your statutory rights if goods arrive damaged, faulty or not as described.
We ship worldwide. The shipping method available for your item and any shipping charge will be shown before you order.
Sea freight is our standard shipping method for full kits.
For orders confirmed as DDP:
Delivery is door to door.
Import duties, import taxes and the agreed customs clearance charges are included in your price.
You will not be required to pay those charges again on arrival.
Sea freight is generally the most affordable option and is typically included in the price of full kits. Any shipping charge will be shown before purchase.
If you receive a request to pay import charges on a DDP order, contact us promptly so we can investigate.
Air freight is our standard shipping method for smaller items and is available as an upgrade for some full kits.
Unless your quotation or order expressly states that air freight is DDP, import duties, import taxes and applicable carrier or customs clearance charges are not included. You must pay these separately.
Shipping described as “DDU” means that duties and taxes are not included.
Please contact us for a quotation before ordering an air freight upgrade.
The available options may include:
Air freight to your local airport: you arrange collection, a local customs broker where required, customs clearance and payment of the applicable duties, taxes and fees.
Direct courier, such as DHL or UPS: delivery is arranged to your address. The courier generally manages clearance, but you must provide any required information and pay the applicable duties, taxes and clearance charges. Additional broker involvement may be required depending on the destination and shipment.
The quoted service, shipping price and responsibility for import charges will be confirmed before you accept the upgrade.
Transit time starts when your order is dispatched and is additional to production time.
Typical transit estimates are:
Air freight for small items: approximately 10 working days after dispatch.
Air freight for upgraded kits: the estimated transit time will be confirmed in your quotation, generally around 3-5 days after dispatch.
Sea freight: approximately 30–50 days after dispatch, depending on the destination.
Transit estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly agree otherwise. Customs inspections, clearance procedures and transport disruption can extend them.
If you need delivery by a particular date, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm whether we can agree to it.
Nothing in this policy extends an agreed delivery deadline automatically or removes your statutory rights if delivery is late.
We will provide tracking details when your order ships.
Please monitor tracking and contact us promptly if your shipment appears delayed, clearance is pending or tracking has not updated for an extended period. We will investigate with the carrier and provide updates as information becomes available.
Where we arrange delivery to a consumer, responsibility for loss or damage remains with us until the goods come into your physical possession, or that of someone you nominate to receive them, except where the law provides otherwise.
Our shipments are insured against loss. Any claim we make against a carrier or insurer is separate from your statutory rights. Where you are legally entitled to a refund or replacement, we will not require you to wait for our carrier or insurance claim to be settled.
For DDP orders, the agreed import duties, taxes and clearance charges are included in your price.
For orders where duties and taxes are not included, you are responsible for paying the applicable import duties, import taxes and carrier, broker or customs clearance charges. These are additional to the product price and shipping charge.
Government charges are set by the destination country. Carrier and broker charges are set by the relevant provider. Where we cannot reasonably calculate these charges before purchase, we will make clear that additional charges apply.
Before ordering, please check the likely charges and any import requirements applicable to your purchase with your local customs authority or broker.
You must:
Provide a complete and accurate delivery address, a working telephone number and an email address that you monitor.
Respond promptly to legitimate requests from the carrier, customs authority or appointed broker.
Provide information and documents reasonably required from you for clearance.
Pay the import and clearance charges for which you are responsible within the deadline given.
Arrange collection or accept delivery as required by the service you selected.
If tracking shows that clearance or payment is pending but you have not received a request, contact the carrier or us promptly.
We remain responsible for providing accurate shipping and customs documents required from us and fulfilling our own legal obligations.
Customs authorities may select any shipment for inspection, open its packaging, examine its contents or request additional documents before release. This can happen to both DDP shipments and shipments with unpaid duties.
These checks are carried out by the authorities and are outside our control. We cannot prevent an inspection, influence its outcome or guarantee how quickly customs will release a shipment.
Inspections and clearance procedures may extend the estimated delivery time. We are not responsible for the authorities’ inspection schedules or processing times, but we will provide documents and assistance reasonably required from us to support clearance.
A customs inspection or delay does not, by itself, mean that a shipment is lost or automatically entitle you to a refund or replacement.
This section does not remove your statutory rights concerning delivery, cancellation, refunds or faulty goods. It does not exclude responsibility for our own errors or failure to meet our legal obligations.
If you fail to pay import charges for which you are responsible, provide information reasonably required for clearance, respond to clearance requests or accept or collect your shipment, the carrier or customs authority may hold, return or, where permitted, destroy or dispose of the goods.
A shipment returned or destroyed because of your failure to meet these obligations does not automatically qualify for a refund or a free replacement. You may lose the full amount paid for your order where our reasonably incurred, legally recoverable losses equal or exceed that amount.
Where the failure is attributable to you, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you will be responsible for the reasonable, documented losses directly caused by it. These may include:
Unrecoverable carriage costs.
Return freight.
Storage charges.
Customs or brokerage charges.
Unrecoverable duties or taxes charged to us.
Lawful disposal charges.
Other directly resulting losses that we are legally entitled to recover.
We will take reasonable steps to limit these losses. When we become aware of a clearance problem, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the details provided and explain any deadline known to us. Carrier or customs deadlines may be short.
Any deduction from a refund will reflect losses we are legally entitled to recover. We will take account of costs saved, the recoverable value of returned goods, insurance proceeds and any other sums recovered. We will not recover the same loss twice.
We will provide an itemised explanation of any deductions. Any remaining refund due will be paid within the applicable legal deadline. If we consider that further amounts are legally payable by you, we will explain the basis and provide supporting details.
These provisions do not apply to the extent that the problem was caused by our error, our failure to fulfil our obligations or a carrier failure for which we are legally responsible.
Refusing delivery or leaving a parcel uncollected does not, by itself, clearly communicate a cancellation request. If you wish to exercise a cancellation right, please contact us. Nothing in this section restricts a valid statutory cancellation or other consumer remedy.
If goods are returned in a condition suitable for redelivery, we will explain the available options and any reasonable additional shipping and clearance costs before arranging another shipment.
If goods have been destroyed or cannot be recovered because of your failure to meet your customs, payment or collection obligations, we will not provide a free replacement. If you still require the goods, you will need to place a new paid order, unless applicable law requires us to provide a remedy.
Any new order will have its own production and delivery timescales. Placing a new order does not remove any refund or other rights you may have in relation to the original order.
Please check your delivery address and contact details carefully before completing your order.
If you need to make a correction, contact us as soon as possible. Changes may not be possible once production or shipping arrangements have progressed.
If an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by you causes additional delivery or return costs, we may recover the reasonable, documented costs directly caused by that error, to the extent permitted by law. We will explain any proposed charge.
Please inspect your delivery on arrival and, where possible, before signing for it.
If packaging or goods appear damaged, or anything is missing:
Note the problem with the driver where possible.
Take photographs of the packaging, shipping labels and affected items.
Keep the packaging while the issue is investigated.
Contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery.
Do not install a damaged item.
We may review our pre-dispatch photographs alongside your photographs and the carrier’s records to help establish what happened.
Prompt reporting helps us investigate and support a carrier claim. Reporting after 24 hours, signing for a parcel or being unable to inspect it on arrival does not remove your statutory rights.
Please see our Refund and Return Policy for further information about reporting a problem.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable rights relating to cancellation, delivery, faulty or misdescribed goods, refunds and other remedies.
For shipping, tracking or customs queries, please include your order number when contacting us.

Tyre Wall Stickers Limited trading as Robot Bodykits
Last updated: September 2026
We supply specialist aftermarket styling and performance parts. We want our customers to understand the purchasing process, the professional fitting work involved, and how returns and fitment queries are handled.
This policy applies to consumer orders placed through www.robotbodykits.com or via direct invoice. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
Many of our specialist products are manufactured directly after purchase and shipped from our partner facilities. Manufacturing items to order allows us to offer an extensive catalogue without inflated storage costs.
Aftermarket Nature: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our composite bodykits and panels are aftermarket parts, not OEM replacement panels. They require professional bodyshop preparation, trial fitting, and adjustment.
Customer Verification: Before ordering, you must verify your vehicle’s exact model, generation, chassis code, year, and variant. Ordering the incorrect version for your vehicle is treated as a customer error / change-of-mind matter.
Custom Finishes & Bespoke Classification: Selecting material and finish options (including FRP, Partial Carbon, Full Carbon, Gloss Carbon, Matte Carbon, or Forged Carbon) classifies your order as a Bespoke / Tailored Product made to your specifications. Production begins immediately upon order confirmation. Bespoke orders cannot be cancelled or returned once factory manufacturing or material layering has commenced.
For standard, off-the-shelf, non-bespoke web purchases delivered within the UK/EU, consumer customers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the final item of an order.
Cancellation Notice: You must submit a clear, written cancellation request to info@robotworks.co.uk within the 14-day window stating your order number.
Return Deadline: Once notified, you must dispatch the goods back to our UK address within 14 days at your own expense.
Production Status: Because standard made-to-order items enter factory queues rapidly, submitting a cancellation request after production or dispatch has begun means the order must continue through the freight process and be returned under Section 3.
Where you exercise a statutory change-of-mind cancellation right, you are fully responsible for arranging and paying for return freight to our UK address.
Free Shipping Exclusions: Where free standard outward shipping was included in your purchase price, we will refund the initial purchase amount upon valid cancellation. However, we do not arrange, cover, or subsidise return freight for change-of-mind returns.
Estimated Return Freight Costs: Due to the large volume, weight, and fragile nature of automotive body panels, return freight via specialist pallet or freight services cannot be handled by standard postal services. Return freight within the UK typically ranges between £80 and £250+ per pallet/box, depending on size and location. International return shipping costs significantly more. You accept full responsibility for these courier costs when initiating a return.
Return Address: All returns must be delivered directly to our Leicestershire depot:
Robot Bodykits
45 North End, Hallaton, LE16 8UJ, United Kingdom
No Direct Factory Returns: You will never be asked to ship returns directly back to China. However, you must arrange insured freight to our UK depot.
You may inspect goods upon arrival to establish their nature and characteristics, equivalent to how you would examine an item in a retail shop.
Unaltered Condition: Products must be returned unused, undamaged, and complete with all original hardware, brackets, and accessories.
Prohibited Actions Before Return: Any item that has been drilled, cut, sanded, filled, primed, painted, wrapped, bonded, trimmed, or altered in any way is considered permanently modified.
Deduction in Value: If an item is returned damaged or diminished in value as a result of handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature (including test-fitting scratches, chipped gelcoats, or altered mounting points), we reserve the right to deduct up to 100% of the product’s value from your refund to cover our loss.
We consider ourselves a reasonable, practical, and customer-focused business. We recognize that international freight for large body panels can be extremely expensive, carbon emissions from cross-border returns are wasteful, and minor fitment adjustments are a normal part of aftermarket bodywork.
Fair Resolutions First: Where an issue arises, we will always work openly and fairly with you to find a practical solution rather than jumping straight to a costly full return.
Partial Refunds & Repair Contributions: In many scenarios—especially for international orders—we may offer a mutually agreed partial refund or a bodyshop labor contribution so you can keep the part and have minor prep work completed locally.
Mutual Agreement: Partial refunds are voluntary goodwill offers that protect both parties from excessive return freight expenses and delays. Accepting a partial refund settles the specific concern raised while allowing you to keep the product.
For customers ordering from outside the UK and European Union:
Final Sale Terms: Overseas purchases are subject to commercial terms. Due to international logistics, import taxes, and high transit risks, change-of-mind cancellations and returns are not accepted once an international order has entered production or dispatched.
Import Clearance & Refused Deliveries: You are responsible for local import duties, taxes, and customs clearance procedures in your destination country. If a package is returned or abandoned because you failed to pay local import charges or provide clearance details, all direct return freight charges, customs fees, and carrier penalties will be deducted from any eligible refund.
Due to the handmade nature of composite automotive parts (such as FRP and Carbon Fibre), panels do not install like flexible plastic OEM bumpers and require experienced bodyshop installation.
Installer Qualifications: Installation must be performed by a professional automotive bodyshop experienced in composite aftermarket bodykits. DIY installation or general mechanic fitting does not meet professional installation requirements.
Dry Trial Fitting: Installers must perform a complete dry trial fit on the unpainted, unaltered vehicle before undertaking any prep work, trimming, or painting.
Stop-Work Mandate: If your installer encounters a fitment discrepancy during dry trial fitting, work must cease immediately. Contact info@robotworks.co.uk with visual evidence before taking any further action.
Loss of Claim: We are not liable for bodyshop labor fees, paint costs, or prep expenses. Proceeding to trim, drill, prime, or paint a panel that does not fit correctly invalidates any fitment claim or defect rejection.
If your shipment arrives damaged or you suspect a genuine manufacturing defect:
Reporting Timeframe: You must inspect your delivery immediately. Visible transit damage or missing components should be reported to info@robotworks.co.uk within 24 to 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by clear photos of the outer box, shipping labels, and affected parts.
Fitment Concern Submissions: To submit a fitment claim, you must provide:
High-resolution photos showing the part dry-fitted to the vehicle from multiple angles.
Vehicle details (VIN, chassis code, and any existing aftermarket modifications).
The professional bodyshop’s contact information and written assessment.
Remedies: Where a genuine non-conformity or fault is verified, we will arrange a repair, replacement, partial refund, or return in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
